Highlights!

This project is the highlights of a shell. To complete this project I used white charcoal and looked at the shell with a light on it at an angle. I completed this project in about a week. I feel my best part of this project is where the brightest highlights are. I think this project could have been a lot better. I could have taken more time and concentrated on where the highlights are more.

Highlights and Shadows!

In this project I used white and black charcoal. It took about a week to complete. To complete this project I looked at the model skeleton and drew the highlights and shadows. The hardest part of the project was filling in the shadows. I feel that my best part of this project was the overall composition. I think I was successful in this project. If i could change one thing about this project, it would be to make better shadows.

Still Life Project!

This is my still life project. The medium is pencil and took about 3 weeks to complete. For the most part it was easy, except for the highlights and some of the shawdos. Some of the shapes were also hard to make. I feel that my overall project is pretty good. Some of the highlights and shadows could be improved. The best part of my project i think is the deer skull. I think i was successful on this project because i learned how to have more emphasis on the shadows and highlights.
